 Police say the pair were armed with a gun and machete and wearing masks on their faces when they burst into the HCM City-Long Thành-Dau Giay Expressway’s toll collection office and threatened staff.

 
They escaped with the cash but were arrested on Friday at Sai Gon Raiway Station in HCM City, discussing sharing the money and how best to get away.
 
Police have named the pair as Tran Tuan Anh, 26, from the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Tien Giang, and Nguyễn Vu Hoang Nam, 29, from the northern province of Nam Dinh.
 
They say they are both employees at the collection station.
 
The robbers carried out the raid on Thursday at the toll collection office in Dong Nai Province. They threatened and assaulted staff before demanding cash from the safe, filling their backpacks with the money and fleeing on a motorbike towards Commune Street No 25, according Dong Nai Police.
