(ĐN)- 2.700 young people in Dong Nai leaved home to join the army for their military service in February 21.
Ceremonies to see off newly recruited soldiers were held on February 21 morning in various localities across the province.
Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of the provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of People’s Committee attended a see-off ceremony for the newly-recruited soldiers in Bien Hoa city. During the event, they gave flowers and encouragement to youths doing the national service in the locality.
Similar events were also held in Long Khanh town, Long Thanh, Thong Nhat, Nhon Trach, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, Cam My, Vinh Cuu and Trang Bom districts at the same day.
