(ĐN)- More than 47,700 laid-off workers in Dong Nai registered for unemployment benefits in 2018, according to Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Accordingly, over 45,300 laid-off workers were approved to receive unemployment relief totaling more than VND793.2 billion.
Last year, the province provided vocational training for over 2,100 people.
The department also reported that VND712.3 billion in premiums for social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance are owed as of 2018-end.
