Pure white plum blossoms have invaded the vast mountains and hills in Moc Chau, Son La province. The forest peach trees also show off their fading pink and crimson blossoms, from the bellflower cherry of Bac Yen mountain forests in Son La, to Dien Bien province’s cherry blossoms.
The terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai province) are brilliant with the yellow colour of rocketcress. Buckwheat flower blooms in Van Ho (Son La) are also bustling in red.
In the full flow of spring, tourists flock to the Northwest to enjoy the stunning scenery with colorful flowers. Those from far away join local Mong and Thai girls, wearing colourful embroidered dresses, who also become flowers in the highlands, adorning the beauty of the Northwestern forests.
