(ĐN)- On January 21, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong Thi Mai, President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Bui Van Cuong and Secretary of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong visited and presented 50 gift packages to poor workers in the locality.
Ms Truong Thi Mai highly appreciated efforts made by local trade unions to improve the spiritual and material life of members.
Especially, the provincial Labour Confederation have carried out a number of activities to ensure disadvantaged workers are still able to enjoy a happy Tet holiday, including organizing made-in-Vietnam goods trade fairs at industrial parks and art performances, and presenting over 600,000 gift packages and 4,000 train and coach tickets totaling VND200 billion for workers from northern and central localities.
