(ĐN) - On September 9, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee in cooperation with Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Women Union, Study Promotion Association and Youth Union held a ceremony to award scholarships to local students.

(ĐN) - On September 9, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee in cooperation with Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Women Union, Study Promotion Association and Youth Union held a ceremony to award scholarships to local students.

The event aims to celebrate the 320th anniversary of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai region.

At the ceremony, the organizers awarded 320 scholarships to studious poor students and those who are children of revolutionary families.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Huynh Van Toi of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that the front would cooperate with units to present 4,077 scholarships totaling more than VND4.6 billion to local students in the school year of 2018-2019.

The scholarships aim to help students to overcome their difficulties go to school, encourage them to continue their efforts to become good citizens and contribute to the development of the locality.
