(ĐN) - Vinh Cuu district’s Youth Union has recently handed over VND100 million, funded by Bac Hoang Company, to students in remote areas through the program “Free bus tickets for disadvantaged students”.
Accordingly, the students who live too far from school are eligible to benefit from the subsidy, which will be used to pay for their bus tickets to go to schools.
The meaningful program aims to help the students go to school and return home easily, encourage them to pursue study.
On this occasion, Vinh Cuu district’s Commission for Mass Mobilization handed nearly VND3 million to buy health insurance cards for students in Ma Da junior high school.
