(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s young farmer will be honored with the Luong Dinh Cua Award at an award ceremony scheduled to be held in Can Tho city.
He is Nguyen Tien Chuong, residing in Long Khanh town’s Bau Sen commune. Chuong had begun his start-up by growing spiny bitter gourds for getting oil. So far he has connected with other farmers to build material zone and set up an enterprise specializing in producing products from spiny bitter gourds.
This year’s awards will be given to 50 exceptional young farmers who have made outstanding contributions to agricultural production and rural development.
The annual prize, organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, is in recognition of young people’s excellent performance in production, business, environmental protection and building new rural area.
