In addition, the province has shut down 2 garbage treatment sites in Bien Hoa city’s Trang Dai ward and Tan Phu district’s Phu Thanh commune.
Currently, there are 2 garbage treatment sites with under 15 percent of garbage burying in Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts. The others have 68-70 percent of garbage burying.
According to Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the province has asked investors of the garbage treatment projects to promptly equip lines for household waste treatment. Dong Nai has planned to reduce garbage burying rate to under 50 percent.
