(ĐN)- Nhon Trach district Police on August 5 launched community activities at Long Tho commune.
Accordingly, some 300 policemen and soldiers helped local residents to upgrade roads and clean up the environment.
The delegation handed over two charity houses to households with difficult circumstances, awarded 50 scholarships to studious poor students, presented 100 gifts to poor households.
On this occasion, the delegation also cooperated with doctors from Cho Ray hospital to provide free medical check-ups and medicines to local residents, visited and presented gifts to policy families in the commune.
Total cost of the program estimated at VND500 million.
