BL Leatherbank’s warehouse was used as a trial run for a fire covering, with five workers stranded inside.
The fire office sent 2 fire engines and more than 20 firefighters to the scene. The simulated fire has been controlled within 15 minutes after the incident started. The firefighting force also approached the scene and rescued the ‘victims'.
The maneuver aims to raise public awareness about first aid and give practical situation for rescue forces to improve their skills.
