(ĐN) – Dong Nai Youth Union on June 3 launched the 2018 summer volunteer campaign, which runs until August 31.
With the theme of “Innovative youths, volunteer for community”, the summer volunteer campaign will feature various programmes, including building bridges, charity houses and public facilities, joining blood donation events, upgrading rural roads, among others.
At the launching ceremony, the union handed over donations to build 6 charity houses and 2 bridges, provided financial supports to 4 members, gave 20 sets of textbooks and 10 scholarships worth VND1 million each to students with difficult circumstances in Dinh Quan district.
After the ceremony, local young people planted trees, provided free medical check-ups and medicines to residents, etc.
