(ĐN)- A whirlwind on May 26 hit Bau Ham 2 commune, Thong Nhat district of Dong Nai province, blowing away the roofs of many houses.
The district's authorities said the whirlwind, accompanied by heavy rain that started on Saturday, damaged 8 houses by blowing away their roofs. It also caused damages to more than 300 rubber trees at Dau Giay Rubber Farm.
Security forces have been mobilised to help local people repair their homes, remove fallen trees and stabilize normal life.
