On May 26, the leader of the VFF Central Committee visited Most Venerable Thich Thanh Tu, Deputy Supreme Patriarch of the VBS’s Patronage Council, at Thuong Chieu Monastery in Phuoc Thai commune of Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.
He noted that the Law on Belief and Religion, which comes into force in 2018, will create more favourable conditions for all religions, including Buddhism. He asked Thuong Chieu Monastery and the VBS to build on the obtained achievements and contribute more to national development and protection.
