(ĐN)- Nearly 1,000 workers gathered together in a cultural exchange and art performance programme held in Long Binh ward.
The event is part of activities to mark “Month of Workers, co-organized by Bien Hoa city’s Labour Union and Youth Union.
The festival aims to promote exchange activities amongst workers from local businesses and organisations, as well as strengthen their solidarity. It also provides the opportunity for the participants to enhance their spiritual life and physical health.
On this occasion, the union presented 30 gifts worth VND300,000 each to poor workers and their children.
Earlier, Dona Standard Company in Xuan Loc district also held sporting activities for workers, built a charity house for a worker with difficult background, gave 15 gifts to disadvantaged workers and coordinated with local Red Cross Chapter to launch a voluntary blood donation campaign.
