The event saw the presence of Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee and leaders of departments and agencies.

During the ceremony, representatives of collectives and typical individuals talked about how they joined patriotic emulation movements and showed determination to make these activities more practical and efficient.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai said the emulation have successfully exploited the concerted strength of the province to realise the development targets on socio-economic, cultural affairs, and defence-security.

Patriotic emulation movement has been enthusiastically responded by people of all strata and was an important driving force behind the province’s immense achievements in various fields.

He urged that patriotic emulations should continue to be launched and improved in order to provide a real boost for provincial development.

On this occasion, the provincial leaders also awarded excellent emulation flags to 44 collectives and granted certificates of merit to 44 units for their outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements in 2017.
