(ĐN) - A meeting was held in Dong Nai on May 4 to deploy the implementation of Project 896, the master plan on simplifying administrative procedures, citizenship papers and the population management database for 2013-2020.
During the meeting, the provincial Steering Committee for the Implementation of Project 896 asked relevant ministries and agencies to coordinate with the Department of Public Security to collect and update population data, speed up the establishment of the database. On this occasion, infrastructure and software application training was also provided.
The department will issue residence registration forms to collect the information of citizens throughout the locality.
Citizens information will be digitized and archived by an information infrastructure system. People will then receive citizen identification numbers.
Building national data on population will contribute to the development of the province and make the management task easier.
