(ĐN)- The 21st National Physics Olympiad for Students wrapped up on April 22 at Dong Nai University.
After four days of competition, the Hanoi University of Polytechnic won a special prize for their best achievement at the competition. The organizing panel also presented the first, second, third prizes for winning students and teams.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai University scored three third prizes to rank third at the competition.
The contest, which is jointly held by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology and Dong Nai University, attracted nearly 130 contestants from 43 universities and colleges nationwide, competing in three parts including multi- choice test, experimental test and doing exercises.
The Olympiad aims to improve the quality physics education, recognize outstanding students in physics, and promote enthusiasm for studying the subject among them. It also provides a venue for students who share a common interest in physics to exchange experiences in studying and researching the subject.
The 22nd National Physics Olympiad for Students will be held at Ha Noi University of Irrigation in April, 2019.
