(ĐN)- A launch ceremony for Food Safety and Hygiene Action Month 2018 was held on April 18 at Dong Nai Radio and Television.
With the theme “Strengthening the responsibility of food producers and traders”, the annual event aims to raise food hygiene awareness among food manufacturers, processors and people.
Over the past time, Dong Nai organized inter-sectoral inspection delegations to carry out checks on food producers across the province to ensure food quality, hygiene and safety, discover and timely handle violations.
Accordingly, 982 breaches of food safety and quality regulations were discovered with the total fine collected worth some VND4 billion.
