(ĐN) - Dong Nai provincial Charity Association has recently held a ceremony to review its activities in 2017 and outline orientations and tasks for 2018.
In 2017, the association raised over VND3.7 billion from more than 5,300 organizations and individuals to help disadvantaged people. The money was used to build 10 charity houses for households with difficult circumstances, presented gifts for policy families, provided free meals to poor patients in Dong Nai General Hospital, gave over 2,700 gifts to flood affected residents, etc.
In 2018, the association will continue to mobilize over VND3 billion for humanitarian and charitable activities.
