(ĐN)- Hoang An pagoda in Bien Hoa city will coordinate with Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee to provide free eye surgeries totaling over VND240 million to needy patients.
Accordingly, 120 poor people will receive eye operations free of charge from now until March-end. In this period, the pagoda also donates to build a charity house for a local household with difficult circumstances.
Last year, the pagoda raised some VND1.3 billion to help poor patients, give wheelchairs to disabled people.
