(ĐN)- Thong Nhat district plans to present nearly 9,800 Tet gifts totaling some VND6.7 billion to Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids and martyrs’ families, revolutionary contributors, single elderly people, poor people, disabled children, and orphans, according to the district’s Office of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
The gifts will be handed over before February 5 aiming to bring a warm Tet holiday to the beneficiaries.
