(ĐN)- On January 13, a blood donation festival called “Red Sunday” was held at Tran Bien high school in Bien Hoa city by the Tien Phong newspaper, the National Committee for Traffic Safety, and the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in cooperation with Dong Nai provincial Youth Union and Bien Hoa city’s Red Cross Chapter.
The event attracted more than 400 students and young soldiers and local people. Accordingly, 360 blood units were collected during the festival.
This is the second year that the festival has been held in Bien Hoa city. This year, the event is held in 32 provinces and cities across the country with estimated participants of around 150,000
