(ĐN) - According to Director Huynh Van Tinh of Dong Nai Department of Laour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, there were more than 75,000 people receiving regular allowances totaling over VND366 billion in 2017.
They included over 34,400 elderly people, 28,000 disabled people, and 1,300 children with especially difficult circumstances. Last year, the department also provided 277 poor households with irregular allowances and issued free health insurance cards for over 56,700 people.
