After 4 months of launching, the organizers had received 853 entries by journalists nationwide. The entries concentrated on the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and law on traffic culture, and urgent solutions to road, railway, domestic waterway, marine navigation and aviation traffic safety.
At the ceremony, the organizing board one special, two first, five second, 10 third and 15 consolation prizes to the winners. Accordingly, journalist Thanh Hai of Dong Nai Newspaper won a third prize for a series of articles entitled “Tougher measures needed to tackle careless truck drivers”.
