(ĐN)- As of October-end, there have been 454 local enterprises which failed to pay social, health and unemployment insurance for their employees for six months upwards with total debts of VND100.9 billion.
These firms have violated the law as well as the rights of labourers, negatively affecting the province’s social welfare. Over the past time, Dong Nai provincial Labour Federation has made measures to collect the debts and coordinate with other authorized agencies to launch inspections to protect the rights of labourers.
In 2017, the provincial Social Insurance solved for more than 176,000 laborers to receive monthly allowances, unemployment benefits, and lump-sum allowance upon retirement, over 1.3 million of people enjoying sickness and the maternity regime with total amount of more than VND4.8 trillion.
