(ĐN)- A grand requiem for traffic accident victims was held at Tinh Hoi pagoda in Hiep Hoa commune, Bien Hoa city on November 16 with the view of easing the pain of losing relatives of the bereaved families.
The event also aims to warn traffic participants to observe traffic safety regulations, thus to ensure safety for themselves and others, according to Deputy Director Trinh Tuan Liem of Department of Transportation,
The requiem is part of activities in response to the World Day in Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (the third Sunday of November) launched by the UN.
On this occasion, Dong Nai province’s Traffic Safety Committee presented 15 gifts to the families of victims of fatal road accidents.
