(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai People’s Committee, as of November 2017, the province has provided set-top boxes for over 3,300 poor and near-poor households who are affected by the analogue switch-off to decode digital TV signals.
Dong Nai is one of 15 provinces and cities which have carried out television digitalization program since August 2017, following a decision by the Government.
With the digital switchover, people can now receive between 26-70 channels with better quality compared with those programs broadcast on analogue signals.
The Government plans to convert broadcasts from analogue to digital nationwide by the year 2020, for higher broadcasting quality.
