(ĐN) - Over the past 9 months of this year, Xuan Loc district's Study Encouragement Association mobilized more than VND7.5 billion from organizations and individuals for local study promotion fund. Moreover, the association also raised nearly VND4.5 billion for fund by mobilizing its members to put money in their clay pigs.
In this period, the association and its agencies awarded more than 3,400 scholarships to needy students and rewarded over 26,000 excellent teachers and students with a total of over VND6.4 billion
Over the past time, the association has made efforts to develop studious families and study encourage clans. The district is now home to 182 study encouragement agencies with more than 36,670 members
