(ĐN)- Dong Nai Youth Union has recently held a ceremony to respond to the competition to study history and culture for students in senior high schools and continuous studying centers nationwide.
The competition named Tu hao Vietnam (Proud of Vietnam), launched by the Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Education and Training, includes online games of history knowledge and culture such as milestones in history, national heroes, cultural celebrities and achievements in reform periods.
Participants should register to create an account at http://www.tuhaovietnam.com.vn to take part in the competition through two forms including online tests and clip making. In the online tests, candidates must answer questions including event in the course of history, trips to historical sites, national celebrities and proud of Vietnam.
After the launching ceremony, 80 students and 11 schools across the province registered to compete at the contest.
The competition is expected to be a useful playing field of knowledge for students to stir their thirst of history knowledge as well as improve teaching and studying history in the schools.
