(ĐN)- Over the past time, members of Dong Nai provincial War Veterans’ Association have made efforts to help each other to develop production, contributing to reduce poverty and improve their lives. Accordingly, the association’s poor members rate reduced to 0.08 percent.
The association’s rich members supported 34 tones of fertilizer, nearly 13,000 seedlings and breeding animals for poor veterans, provided preferential loans totaling more than VND300 million to members with difficult circumstances to develop household economics.
The association actively participated in the construction of new-style rural areas. Particularly, its members contributed more than 600 sq.m of land, more than VND14 billion and thousands of working days to build rural traffic roads.
