(ĐN) – On August 31, Sojitz VN held a ceremony to award 165 scholarships worth VND4 million to poor students in Long Thanh district and Bien Hoa city.
Sojitz’s representative said it is the sixth year that the corporation is presenting scholarships totaling over VND3 billion to disadvantaged students in Long Thanh and Bien Hoa city.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee thanked Sojitz VN’s leaders for their interests in studious poor students, helping them to continue their study.
She expressed her hope that the corp would continue to participate in social and charitable activities, especially in study encouragement work in the locality.
