(ĐN)- On September 18, Long Khanh town-based Bao Quang communal Farmers’ Association handed over two charity houses to local poor ethnic minority households.
The houses cover an area of 36 sq.m each with a total cost of some VND100 million, funded by Cat Linh Company.
Since the beginning of this year, Bao Quang communal People’s Committee raised more than VND250 million to build 6 charity houses to families with difficult circumstances in the locality.
On this occasion, sponsors also presented practical gifts to the families.
At the same day, Xuan Thien communal People’s Committee in cooperation with Thong Nhat district Military Headquarters presented a charity house to the family of Mr Le Thiet Quynh, Cho-ro ethnic people.
The house is built on an area of 50 sq.m with a cost of VND47 million, financed by the district’s Military Headquarters and Xuan Thien commune’s Fund for the Poor.
