(ĐN)- On Sept 28, Nguyen Van Ky scholarship awarding ceremony was held with the attendance of Chairman Huynh Van Toi of Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of People’s Committee.
At the ceremony, the organizer presented scholarships worth VND1.5-3 million to 145 poor students in the province.
Nguyen Van Ky is former Secretary of Bien Hoa Party Committee. Established in 2012, Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship Fund aims to support students in poor in their education. So far, the fund awarded 1,185 scholarships totaling over VND3 billion, financed by Nguyen Van Ky’s family and sponsors, for local disadvantaged students.
