(ĐN)- As of August-end, Dong Nai Environmental Protection Fund (DEPT) provided preferential loans totaling nearly VND175 billion to 52 waste treatment projects, said the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
Accordingly, the fund offered loans for 21 cooperatives and an enterprise to buy specialized rubbish carriers, helped 19 others building wastewater and exhaust gas treatment systems, etc.
The DEPT was established to provide financial assistance for projects preserving the nature and repairing the environmental pollution in the province. Presently, the fund has a total capital of more than VND185 billion.
