(ĐN)- On July 26, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to award Tran Cam Nhung scholarships worth VND5-10 million each to local students who are martyrs’ children and grandchildren.
Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of People’s Committee, and Chairman Huynh Van Toi of Fatherland Front Committee attended the event.
Tran Cam Nhung Scholarship Fund is established by Ms Tran Cam Nhung, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Long Thanh Golf, with a total value of VND18 billion. It is now managed by the Front.
Addressing at the ceremony, Ms Tran Cam Nhung expressed her hope that the students would continue their efforts to achieve good results in studying and become good citizens in future.
Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu hailed the contribution of the Tran Cam Nhung Scholarship Fund to study encouragement movement in the province. He hoped that the scholarships receivers would continue uphold the revolutionary tradition of the family, making specific and practical contributions to the local construction and development.
