Over the first six months, the association mobilized more than VND61 billion from individuals and organizations for study encouragement, a year-on-year increase of 25.6 percent.
Chairman Nguyen Trung Phuong of the provincial Study Promotion Association said that, in the coming time, the association will continue efforts to expand study encouragement funds to grant scholarships and awards for disadvantaged children and those who perform well academically, focus on building a learning society at grassroots levels through promoting life-long learning.
On this occasion, Long Khanh town, Trang Bom and Thong Nhat districts have been honored for their achievements in study promotion movement.
