Accordingly, more than VND1.7 billion was raised to build 16 charity houses, give 150 goats to households with difficult circumstances, visit and present gifts to local policy families and Vietnamese heroic mothers, award 85 scholarships and 30 bicycles for studious poor students, provide free medical check-ups to over 1,000 needy people.
Besides, the volunteers also helped local residents to upgrade 3 km of rural traffic roads, collect garbage at public places and clean up the environment.
