O the 400 honorees who represent millions of collectives and individuals nationwide who are devoting themselves to their work and study, contributing to national security and growth, 5 are from Dong Nai province. They are Dong Nai Branch of Agribank, Le Nu Thuy Duong, General Director of Long Thanh Golf JS Company, Lanh Thi Chieu a typical excellent farmer in Long Khanh town, Dao Van Dat, outstanding worker from Sonadezi Environment JS Company, Ho Son Tu, an excellent businessman in Xuan Loc district.
Addressing at the ceremony, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said that apart from the 400 role models feted, there were countless unsung heroes in many fields across the country.
They are driven by patriotism, their resolve to enrich themselves and their homeland, and the aspiration to grasp new scientific and technological knowledge, he said. These people are the core of the emulation movement, he added.
