(ĐN) - Dong Nai Red Cross Association has recently held a conference to deploy its tasks and signed an agreement on emulation for 2017.
Accordingly, the association will give top priority to emergency relief and humanitarian aid, making positive contributions to new-style rural construction.
In order to fulfill this task, the association will continue efforts to further boost the campaign entitled “Each organization, each individual associated with one humanitarian address” and “Cow Bank”.
Moreover, the association and its agencies will raise donations from organizations and individuals to build charity houses for poor households, construct humanitarian works, and award scholarships and bicycles to disadvantaged students.
On this occasion, 17 collectives and 17 individuals received certificates of merit for their outstanding achievements in 2016.
At the conference, the association presented 30 gifts worth VND300,000 each to difficult households in Bien Hoa city.
