(ĐN)- Hundreds of voluntary students on March 25 rode bicycles on main streets in Bien Hoa city to call on residents to switch off lights and unnecessary electric appliances to save energy.
Themed “Light off to turn on the future”, local residents were encouraged to turn off unnecessary electric devices from 20:30 - 21:30 p.m on March 26, with a switch-off ceremony took place at the provincial Conference Center.
Organizations, schools, businesses and households are also encouraged to take part in the campaign.
Earth Hour campaign was first launched in Vietnam in 2009.
