In 2016, Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its agencies raised more than VND397 billion to build charity houses, award scholarships and provide capital support to needy households. Moreover, the committee’s Fund for the Poor mobilized over VND39 billion from organizations, enterprises and individuals to upgrade 581 charity houses and implement other social activities.
