(ĐN)- Over the past times, Bien Hoa city has made efforts to care for local poor residents. Particularly, the city built and upgraded 6 houses for poor households, presented 10 saving books to persons with difficult circumstances, helped 556 poor and near-poor households to access to preferential loans totaling more than VND7 billion, offered free tuition to thousands of disadvantaged students.
Moreover, the city also provided regular allowances to over 41,000 war invalids, martyrs families and revolutionary contributors, and some 200 social protection beneficiaries.
