Of the total, more than 59,000 people were recruited by enterprises, over 27,000 others gained jobs through socio-economic programs, 6,000 people received capital loans to generate jobs; and 165 skilled workers have been sent abroad for working.
In 2016, some 35,484 laid-off workers in the province registered for unemployment benefits, many of them were approved to receive monthly unemployment relief.
Dong Nai plans to find jobs for 85,000 laborers to reduce the unemployment rate to 2.4 percent this year.
