At the event, Taekwang Vina’s trade union handed over gifts and VND3 million in cash each to 8 families of workers with difficult circumstances, and presented 300 Tet gifts worth each VND500,000 to poor workers. The total costs for this festival were VND700 million.
Earlier, Changshin Vietnam Company, operating in Vinh Cuu district, also spent VND nearly VND2 billion to hold its Family festival in 2017 for more than 10,000 laborers working in the company. Cultural activities, art performances; lucky draws for motorbikes and valuable gifts were organized to entertain laborers.
