Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of the provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee attended the event.

So far, the association attracted nearly 300,000 members and mobilized VND457.3 billion for study promotion activities. Over the past five years, the association spent over VND128 billion to reward and assist over 923,700 poor students and 59,190 teachers.
Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep suggested the association to continue efforts to mobilize resources to promote the movements of study promotion, encourage all people and social organizations to get involved in study encouragement activities and honor students for their outstanding academic achievements.
The Congress elected its 37-member executive board. Mr Nguyen Trung Phuong was re-elected as Chairman of Dong Nai Study Promotion Association.
On this occasion, the association received second-class labour medal from the State President and excellent emulation flag from the Prime Minister. Many collectives and individuals were also awarded certificates of merit of Vietnam Study Promotion Association and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
