(ĐN)- Over the past five years, Dong Nai branch of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies provided nearly VND3,290 billion in loans to some 285,000 poor and near-poor families, allowing many of them to escape from poverty.
Accordingly, Dong Nai Farmers Association has been commissioned to offer preferential loans totaling around VND1,280 billion to more than 94,800 farmer households.
In this period, the branch has made efforts to enhance its capacity and operation efficiency, contributing to eradicating hunger, reducing poverty, solving jobs and improving living standard for people.
