(ĐN)- The Vocational College of Machinery and Irrigation in Trang Bom district on November 16 held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary of foundation, 34th anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day and welcome the new school year of 2016-2017.

The vocational college was upgraded from the School of Machinery Workers No. 3 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Over 40 years of foundation and development, the college has so far provided training to more than 100,000 skilled workers.
It is now home to 136 lecturers and is providing training on four occupations meeting international standards and two occupations meeting national standards. In this school year, the school has enrolled 1,000 new students from intermediate to college levels.
