(ĐN)- Lac Hong Bilingual School in Bien Hoa city on Saturday held a ceremony to mark its 5th anniversary of foundation and 34th anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day.
The school, which was established in 2011, is a modern school with the orientation of becoming an international school with four levels from pre-school to senior high school.
In the 2016-2017 school year, the school has 1,540 students, many fold higher than those in 2011. Two students of Lac Hong Bilingual School have achieved full scholarships to study at high schools in Japan and New Zealand.
The school has also planned to boost cooperation with a university in the U.S to develop on-site study-abroad program. Students will receive two degrees by Vietnam and the U.S after graduation when they participate in this program.
Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep highly appreciated the school’s development over the past 5 years, suggesting the school to continue its efforts in improving education quality and developing English communicative skills for its students.
On this occasion, the school also received the Prime Minister’s certificate of merit for its outstanding performances over the past years.
