(ĐN)- Since the beginning of the year, the chapter raised more than VND8.766 billion to build 5 charity houses, presented 24 wheelchairs for disabled people and awarded 161 scholarships for studious poor students.
(ĐN)- In the morning of Oct 20, Long Thanh district’s Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with 7A Hospital under Military Zone 7 handed over 13 wheelchairs worth VND1.8 million each to poor disabled people in the locality.
Since the beginning of the year, the chapter raised more than VND8.766 billion to build 5 charity houses, present 24 wheelchairs for disabled people and award 161 scholarships for studious poor students.
Moreover, the chapter also cooperated with delegations of doctors to provide medical check-ups for more than 11,000 needy people, offer free eye surgeries to 128 poor patients and collect 1,311 blood units.
